How to take schisandra

Please note:

  • I don't recommend using herbs randomly or one at a time.  I highly recommend getting a customized herbal protocol that matches the hormonal and energetic balance of your body at a particular point in time.  Shisandra can often be a part of that combination! But no one one herb alone is going to solve hormonal problems.
  • Check with your healthcare practitioner before starting this or any new herbal remedies to clear it with your medications and health history!!

Here's another thing about Schisandra...  It makes a great tea and is great mixed into food, smoothies, juices, or  The flavor takes a little getting used to but becomes something you crave!  

It's very unique in that it contains all the flavors.  I recommend mixing it with some other flavors of tea - especially hibiscus, rosehip, or anything fruity or tart.
