Fermented Vegetables For Menopause

Yes!  Here's why.

If you want your body to be able to balance hormones naturally during & after menopause, one of the most important things you need is a healthy gut.

And fermented vegetables are one of the most healing and health-promoting foods around when it comes to gut health.

In this quick kitchen tip video I'm showing you how easy it is to make your own fermented vegetables, and why I think they taste better!

How to make fermented vegetables

I like to use the Body Ecology fermented vegetable starter and follow their basic recipe

I also like to use a plate warmer (a special long heating pad) I got on amazon to keep the bottles warm on my countertop while they're fermenting:)

I place the bottles in a shallow cardboard box (to catch any drips.). Then I wrap some kitchen towels around and over them for insulation... Then I wrap the plate warmer around the outside of the towels on the sides for gentle, diluted warmth.

Bonus Tip:

Add some of the liqud from your fermented vegetables when your drinking a gut healing broth!
